Accelecor specialises in providing a range of commercial management and review expertise for large IT programmes, change programmes, and outsourcing deals and contracts. 

** Recently completed a significant assignment supporting a new Government NDPB (created from three previous bodies) within the Defra family, by leading its negotiations to merge its disparate sourcing of IS/IT services under one contract. Prepared a full supporting business case for board approval, reflecting the negotiated 10% saving in annual operating costs after taking full account of the rationalisation costs.

Acuera specialised in advisory services for application maintenance outsourcing and service management working for clients such as the Co-Op and Deutsche Bank.

**Founder and director of the company that established itself as a niche player in its market.
**As an independent consultant worked for DHL as the IS project manager for the pilot phase of their new Operations System (based in Paris and Prague) involving about 240 staff (50:50 DHL/Accenture) and initial budget of $80 M. 
** Successfully sold the Acuera business to PwC to become part of their Outsourcing Advisory practice.

Head of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), EMEA Apr 2000 – Sep 03

**Managed revenue of c. US$ 100m p.a. and average contract duration of 7 years from global clients such as BP, Safeway and Delta Airlines. 
** Ensured quality of service delivery, profitability and sales. 
** Overall responsibility for 900 staff in 8 countries. 
** Personally involved in all client governance activities, including delivery of contracted cost savings and investments for service quality purposes. 
** Contributed to wider PwC outsourcing strategy as Member of the BPO Global Executive 
** Contributed to the Risk Assessment Tool (the “RAT”) used to evaluate each potential contract.

Partner, Risk Management for the MCS practice in EMEA Jul 98 – Apr 2000 

** Created policies for and managed risk for PwC consultancy revenues in excess of US$ 1.5bn p.a. 
** Contributed to the development of the PwC MCS Programme Management Methodology (“seven keys for success”) used to provide consistent management approaches on major international assignments. 
** Carried out investigations of all claims/potential claims against the business, and ensured their resolution either by court case preparation or commercial negotiation.


Partner-in-charge of the Government and Utilities Business Unit Jul 94 – Jun 98 

** Managed and undertook field work on assignments for a wide range of clients in Government Departments, international agencies and other public/private bodies, including the RAF, Royal Mail, Hong Kong Social Services and TNT. 
** Unit annual revenues c. US$ 30m. 
** Recruited, led and motivated a team of approx. 15 partners and 300 staff.
